Super Chevy Show Results:

Super Chevy was awesome!  Whether it was looking at the shiny, spotless cars, or watching the jet cars thunder past at 280mph in the quarter mile--well, words can't do justice!  Jim, Lou, and I were the members showing our cars at the event.  There were many, many fourth gen F-bodies in the street class and Lou came away with the first runner up.  There weren't very many stock 4th gen F-bodies, so I managed to get Best in Class.  All in all, the event really was spectacular!

The car show at the Osceola Flea Market went very well.  There were fewer cars than expected, but all and all, it was a nice car show.  The CFFB again took trophies for all of the cars there and was a contender for the club with the most cars there.  It came down to a coin toss, but the other club called "heads" while the coin was in the air.   Unfortunately, it was heads, so they received the trophy!  Here are the results:

       Scott Glassman-1st place semi-modified

      Jim Paugh-1st place stock 91-99

Daniel Ernst-1 of 10 Best of Show

Unfortunately, I forgot to bring my video camera to the event (yes, again!)  but I took some pictures of my car and the trophy after I got home.  They are posted on the 1996 Camaro page.

May 22 Gathering

The May 22 Gathering held out at Old Town in Kissimmee Florida went extremely well.  The show was to benefit the Russell Home, so you got to show you car, have it judged, and help out a charity as well!  The members of the CFFB really racked up with the trophies.   Every car (even though it was a smaller showing) received a trophy of some kind.   Here are the results:

Scott Glassman, 97 SS - Best of Show (Semi-modified 1976 - 1999)
Lou Salzano, 98 SS - 1st Place (Stock Camaro 1993 - 1999)
Jim Paugh, 96 Z28 - 2nd Place (Stock Camaro 1993 - 1999)
Daniel Ernst, 96 Z28 - 3rd Place (Stock Camaro 1993 - 1999)
John Romanoski, 97 TA - 2nd Place (Stock Firebird)

At first, we weren't sure if Scott would win anything, but it was worth waiting for when he recieved a best of show award!   The birds really enjoyed John's Trans-Am as well!  These are the owners from the far Trans-Am.  John Romanoski owns the 97 Trans-Am and next to it is Jim Paugh's 96Z.  After that is Lou Salzano's 1st place 98 SS.  Next is Scott Glassman's 97 Red SS and his HUGE Best in Show trophy.  And lastly--yours truly!  Below are some more pictures of the event!  Be sure to follow the link on the home page to go to the CFFB's main home page!
